Sympathies: The Club would like to extend its sympathy to Kay Stakem, Fostra, on the sad passing of her brother Dan Power, Collon, Co. Louth. The Club offers its condolences to the extended family of the late Frank Donohoe, Gortermone.

Under 21 Championship: Our 21 amalgamation team of Dromard and Fr. Manning Gaels played Longford Slashers in the second round of the championship on Sunday last (18th October)  in Monaduff. The game began at a hectic pace and it was Dromard's Peter Mimnagh wearing number 14 that could not be stopped at full forward when he was pulled to the ground after 10 minutes and awarded a penalty. A great save was made by the Longford Slashers goalkeeper and this proved to be an important moment in the game. Longford Slashers were a better balanced team on this occasion with the talented Niall Kelly in impressive form. Our team did fight hard until the final whistle but could not close the 7 point deficit at the end. We play Colmcille next weekend in the last game. Thank you to all the Dromard supporters on Sunday. The team that started was: Oisin Hourican, Nigel Kiernan, Leon McKeon, Micheal Kiernan, Gary Connell, Danny McGee, Mark Breslin, Anto Keane, Ross McNerney, Emmet Noonan, Peadar Kiernan, Mark Hughes, Peter Mimnagh, Martin Cassidy, Niall McManus.
