We are now half way through our eight week program of classes in the clubhouse and if anyone wants to join in either circuits or aerobics on Tuesday or Wednesday nights then come along to the clubhouse for 8pm either nights. On November 10th at 11.30am we will have a 5km walk/jog/ run starting and finishing at the clubhouse. We are hoping to see everyone out on that day to support the event which is a fundraiser both for St. Christopher's and for our club. We will have prizes for local participants and spot prizes for all. We would like to remind our supporters about our upcoming raffle, the main prize for which is two return flight tickets to Australia. Tickets for the draw, costing €5 each or a book of 6 tickets for €20 are available from club members and also on line (see our club webpage www.dromard.longford.gaa.ie ). Our Leader cup quarter final game was postponed last weekend. We play Ballymahon/Forgney in the u21 championship on Sunday next at 2pm in Ballymahon. Well done to Killoe on their fine win against the Wexford champions St. Anne's in the Leinster club championship. Commiserations St. Marys Granard and Cashel who were defeated in the Leinster Intermediate club championship and Celebrity Bainistoir finals last weekend. Bon voyage and best of luck to senior player Peadar Faughnan who departs for Australia this week. Peadar was always a very committed clubman showing total dedication to whatever team he represented in the club. He had an outstanding year this year and will be a big loss to our teams. Sincere condolences to the Gilfinan family Corglass on the passing of Francie Donohoe who died in Perth, Australia during the past week. Lotto results for Monday 22nd October 2012. The numbers drawn were 3, 4, 17 and 28. There was no jackpot winner. The winners of the draw were John Gill, Larry Halton, Margaret Martin and Pat Brady. The seller's prize was won by Marian Maguire.
