On Sunday last our juniors played the final game of the championship group stages. An away game with Killoe was the fixture and it was Killoe who got the opening 2 points from play. A Dermot Reilly point from play was our response. The home team tagged on further points to extend their lead. We picked off some fine scores in the half to leave the half time score Dromard 0- 04 Killoe 0-10.The first half saw Dromard play a good standard of football and it was unfortunate not to have further scores to show at the break. In the second half we found the net through a well taken John Gray effort. The lads displayed a great spirit to keep competing right to the final whistle. The final score was Dromard 1-07 Mostrim 1-18. Team and scorers; Danny Pettit, Stephen Kenny, James Conefrey, Mark Murtagh, Michael Reynolds, Kevin Kane, James Kenny, Neil Cosgrove (0-01),Ronan Smith, David Cosgrove, Eugene McNaboe, Martin McGee, Dermot Reilly (0-03), Peter Mimnagh (0-02), John Gray(1-01).Sub on the day Niall Berry.
