Keeping in mind the Community Games motto of Healthy mind, Healthy body we aim to organise fitness classes over a six to eight week period. If there is an interest, in conjunction we will run A 5km/10km (Walk/Jog/Run) on the 29th September followed by a second similar event in mid-November. The aim is to allow yourself to set your own personal fitness goal. Funds raised will go towards St. Christopher's Services Longford and Dromard GAA. On Monday the 3rd of September Gerry Duffy author of ' Who Dares Runs' and winner of the DECA Enduroman challenge in 2011, having completed 32 marathons in 32 days will deliver a presentation about his remarkable story in Breffni Arms, Hotel, Arva at 9pm.
