Sympathy: Dromard GAA would like to extend its sympathy to the family of Mary Ann McNerney, St Patrick's Court, Ballinamuck and formerly Aughnacliffe who passed away last week.

National Football League: Congratulations to Diarmuid Masterson and the Longford senior footballers and their great win over neighbours Westmeath on Sunday last in Pearse Park. The victory was Longford’s fourth of the campaign and secured the county’s Division 3 status for another year. In a very competitive division, this is a great achievement for all the players and management. Well done to Enda Macken, Denis Connerton and especially to the Dromard representatives for their dedication to the County Team during a tough league campaign. Best of luck to the panel and management in their preparations for the upcoming Leinster Championship against Offaly.
